PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an LCD pad part is provided to prevent the oxidation of a pad metal by avoiding the exposure of the metal to an edge surface of a grinding area, thereby preventing the deviation of the pad metal from a substrate when separating a former tap and improving the production yield. CONSTITUTION: A pad part manufacturing method of liquid crystal display includes the steps of forming a gate pad(202) on a substrate(201) apart from a grinding area, forming an insulating layer(205) on the entire surface including the gate pad, forming an open area for exposing a surface of the gate pad by selectively removing the insulating layer, and forming a conductive film(206) extended to the grinding area and electrically connected with upper or lower part of the gate pad.
