PURPOSE: Pressure/heat energy of exhaust gas of piston engine is used as a mechanical driving force, thereby eliminating exhaust noise. CONSTITUTION: A driving output gear(23) is installed in a driving generator(20). The driving generator(20) realizes a closed space(25) changing its volumes repeatedly by rotating male and female rotors(21, 22) of helical screw type. The driving generator(20) is mounted in a main engine in order for the driving output gear(23) to be connected to the main output shaft(15) of the main engine(10). An exhaust gas of the main engine goes from a manifold(13) through a catalyst converter(14) to an exhaust gas inlet(27) of the drive generator(20). The exhaust gas expands incrementally in the closed space(25) by the rotors, and is cooled by an exhaust gas cooler(30) in an exhaust gas outlet hole(28). The exhaust gas is discharged by a gas blower(40) thereafter.
