A method of recording information transactions between a client (12) and a server (14) in a network (16), including the steps of: determining a record (22) of a request message transmitted by the client to the server; determining a record (24) of a response message transmitted by the server to the client in response to the request message; and storing, in a transaction record (20), the request record together with the response record.
