The lock includes a base fixed on the element to be locked. There is a catch pivotably (43) connected to the base and having a toothed portion (410) complementary to the toothed portion (20) of the strap (2) and cooperating with it. There is a spring which biasses these two toothed portions together. There is also a lever (45) to disengage the meshing of the toothed portions, against the action of the spring, to unbind the fastening. The toothed portion of the strap passes through an aperture (411) in the catch between its pivot (43) and its toothed surface (410), which is positioned so that the locking force is increased in proportion to the effort applied by the strap.The band or flap to which the strap is attached has a boss (420) which guides the strap towards the aperture (411) in the catch. |
