Individual parts of the tool, e.g. jaws or blades (6) and handles (7) are made separately and connected. An Independent claim is included for the tool itself, which is especially a pair of scissors. Preferably clipping, welding, adhesion, riveting or peg-and-hole plugged assembly, are employed for connection, alone or in combination. Components are made for assembly, using plastic pressure injection molding; they may be over-injected or made separately. Hollow sections are fitted over tangs. A fitted- or a clip connection is made with the handles. Parts are made by forging, stamping, pressing, welding, precision casting, soldering or brazing technologies, alone or in combination. MIM, i.e. metal injection molding or sinter-casting are employed. Alternative sintering methods are used. Graphic formation is undertaken e.g. by screen printing, for the handles. Further processes which may be employed include turning, copy-milling or similar, using e.g. wood. Various forms of connection are claimed separately, e.g. a form of self-tapping screw.
