The boot gaiter (1) has an attached toe protection cap (2) for protecting the foot section (7) of the boot from the high pressure fluid jet. The gaiter can be made of plastics and is matched to the shape of the boot and covers the latter as far as the sole, with a rear closure (10) for securing it around the boot.
