Production of continuous leather trim for the edges of seats comprises cutting strips in a spiral from a hide. These are then folded longitudinally over a support rod (18) and stuck to each other. Slits (16), embossings or notches (17) are made in the edges of the hanging section (12) of the strip. An Independent claim is included for the trim strip.
