The connecting process involves laying one workpiece (1) on the other (2), deforming a part region of them to form a bulge (4) projecting from an outer surface (3), and completing processing of the bulge to form an undercut at the free end of it. The deformation may be carried out using a fluid under high pressure and a mechanical deforming tool.
