A clamping plate or metal door or window frames has an asymmetrically flattened OMEGA -shaped profile comprising a longer flange (1a), able to interact constantly with a free end (2a) of a hinge element (2) during assembly, and a shorter flange (1b), able to clamp a fastening projection (3a) of a metal section (3) against a main body (2b) of the hinge element (2). A hinge comprises at least one clamping plate (1) of the abovementioned type and an element (2) which can be associated therewith, the free end (2a) being formed so as to come in to bearing contact against the bottom of a groove (3b) in the metal section (3) so that it can be used for sections having grooves of any size. |
