The steering wheel sleeve has a removable seating cushion (10) provided with a plug-in element for attaching it to the steering wheel sleeve by cooperation with a reception element on the inside of the latter. The plug-in element can have a pair of opposing lugs (20,22) fitting into respective pockets (36,38) provided by the reception element on the inside of the steering wheel sleeve.
