PURPOSE: A humidity control apparatus and method for manufacturing humidity control plate is provided to reduce water and energy consumption, while achieving a stable humidifying operation over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a main body(1) having an air inlet port(2) and an air outlet port(4), and a fan(3) for discharging air through the air outlet port. A humidifying device(10) is installed in the main body. When the fan rotates, the air introduced through the air inlet port is moisturized while passing through the humidifying device and discharged to outside through the air outlet port, to thereby control humidity. The humidifying device is formed of a plurality of humidity control plates stacked into a layer. The humidifying device has a water feed pipe installed at the top of the humidifying device, and a water reservoir installed at the bottom of the humidifying device. The humidifying device has a water feed line(14) and a pump(P) for circulation of water from the water reservoir to the water feed pipe.
