PURPOSE: A steam generating hair styler is provided to produce various hair styles conveniently according to the desire of a user without damaging hair, and to straighten even curly hair. CONSTITUTION: The steam generating hair styler comprises an upper grip(2) having a push button and a lower grip pivotally hinged to the upper grip; an upper plate member(6) formed with a steam passage, to which a hair molding device is separably attached; a water tank(5) separably installed to the upper plate member; a heating plate having a stem passage communicating with the steam passage of the upper plate member for heating the water supplied into the steam passage with a first heater; a first heat radiation plate having plural steam discharge holes; a second heat radiation plate facing to the first heat radiation plate to be heated by a second heater; and a lower plate member for supporting the second heat radiation plate.
