PURPOSE: A method for debugging a processor board is provided to simply debug the processor board and easily debug a plurality of processor boards. CONSTITUTION: A part of memory of a processor board is assigned to an output buffer. Serial data outputted to a monitor port of the process board are successively stored in the output buffer until the processor board is downloaded. If the serial data are stored to a last address of the output buffer, a loop-flag is set and the serial data are repeatedly stored from a start address of the output buffer until the processor board is downloaded. If the processor board is downloaded and a system is reset, the storage of the serial data is ended. If the setting of the loop-flag is not performed, the serial data stored from the start address of the assigned output buffer to an address in which the download of the processor board is generated are analyzed to perform a debugging. If the loop-flag is set, the serial data stored from the address in which the download of the processor board is generated to the last address are analyzed, and the serial data stored from the start address of the assigned output buffer to the address in which the download of the processor board is generated are analyzed to perform the debugging.
