摘要 PURPOSE: A semi-transmissive liquid crystal display and a method for fabricating the same are provided to simplify the fabricating process by forming the apertures in transmission parts of pixels simultaneously with concave and convex portions of reflection electrode surfaces from an interlayer insulating film on a silicon film. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display includes the steps of forming an interlayer insulating film on a silicon layer forming sources and drains of thin film transistors, forming a photoresist layer on the interlayer insulating film, patterning the photoresist layer by using a mask formed with a pattern less than a resolution limit of a reflection electrode forming part, and patterning the photoresist layer by using the interlayer insulating film as an etching mask, wherein source electrodes(S1), signal lines, drain electrodes(D1) and reflection electrodes(10) are formed simultaneously from a metal film(11).
