The invention relates to a cylinder head for a rotary piston combustion engine, comprising at least two cylinders in series, each cylinder having at least one intake and one exhaust duct extending from a combustion chamber plate, with tapped holes disposed on both sides of the ducts for cylinder head fixing screws, which are disposed inside the sidewalls of the cylinder head, and a central combustion chamber in the shaft provided in the combustion chamber plate for a functional component. In order to achieve a excellent finished, compact and extremely flexion-resistant construction, the free projecting sidewalls are disposed with the lower lying screw locating surfaces of the adjacent tapped holes and the areas of the duct walls of the at least one intake and/or exhaust duct substantially following an imaginary line, when seen cross-sectionally, traversing the locating surface of the cylinder head in the shape of a "V" and obliquely in relation to the central axis of the cylinder approximately in the longitudinal central plane of the cylinder. |
