COMPOSITION OF YELLOW EARTH BRICK AND YELLOW EARTH TILE ACTIVATING YELLOW EARTH, ILLITE AND TITANIUM DIOXIDE, AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are yellow earth bricks and yellow earth tiles excellent in far infrared emission, deodorization, humidity control and sterilization by activating the mixture of yellow earth, illite and titanium dioxide. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method comprises the steps of: mixing 25-100pts.wt. of yellow earth, 0-75pts.wt. of illite, 0-20pts.wt. of TiO2, and 10-30pts.wt. of water, wherein the quantity of each raw material is based on 100pts.wt. of yellow earth mixture(yellow earth + illite), and the size of yellow earth and illite is less than 2.0mm; forming by extruder or press; drying at 10-100deg.C for 24hrs.; drying at high temperature to activate the dried bricks and tiles by heating at a rate of 1.5-5.0 deg.C/min. to 300-980deg.C and holding for 1-5hrs. The resultant yellow earth products have 180-250kgf/cm¬3 of compression strength and 92% of far infrared emissivity.
