<p>PURPOSE: An aqueous photocurable resin composition, an aqueous ink containing the composition, an ink cartridge containing the ink, a record unit, an ink-jet record device and a photopolymerization initiator are provided to obtain an environmentally friendly aqueous ink not using an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous photocurable resin composition comprises water; a polymerizable material which has at least two polymerizable functional groups and one or two anionic functional group and is polymerized by the radical initiation; and a water-soluble photopolymerization initiator which generates radical by light. Preferably the polymerizable material is a water-soluble compound represented by the formula 1, wherein k is 2 or 3; L is 1 or 3; Z is COO- or its salt; A is -C(=O)-CX=CH2; X is H is CH3; and R is polyols or epoxy esters of polyols. The photopolymerization initiator is represented by the formula TX-1, TX-2 and TX-3, wherein R2 is -(CH2)x-(wherein x is 0 or 1), -O-(CH2)y-(wherein y is 1 or 2) or a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group; M is H or an alkali metal; R3 and R4 are independent each other and are H, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; and m is an integer of 1-10.</p> |
