PURPOSE: To provide a digital to analog converter circuit having high accuracy, that can be made small in size by reducing the circuit scale and to provide an image display device that attains a narrow-sized frame, by reducing a display drive circuit section without decreasing its display area. CONSTITUTION: The digital to analog converter circuit is provided with capacitors C1-C8, whose capacitance is graded in the increasing order and one terminal of which is connected in common and analog switches ANS1-ANS8, that connect reference levels V1 and V2, in response to a digital signal externally received to the other terminals of the capacitors C1-C8. Grading the drive capability of the analog switches ANS1-ANS8 according to the capacitors C1-C8 connected to the analog switches ANS1-ANS8 can reduce the circuit scale, so as to enhance the digital to analog converter accuracy.
