<p>The clamp, comprising a body with a cavity and a handle (21) for a harness strap, has a fixed jaw (3) and a movable jaw (5) allowing it to be fitted onto a horizontal safety line cable. It is designed so that the movable jaws can be set in an intermediate position with a gap large enough to allow the clamp to pass over supports on the safety line holding it to the wall. A control member (11) allows the jaw gap to be widened for fitting and removing the clamp, while is it automatically closed completely if a pull is applied to the handle.</p> |
