PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of high purity cuprous chloride(CuCl) by reacting Cu2O and Cu powder with a waste solution of printed circuit board(PCB) containing HCl and cupric chloride(CuCl2). CONSTITUTION: The preparation method is as follows: adding Cu2O and Cu powder, being 300mesh in size, to PCB waste solution containing CuCl2 and HCl, and reacting at 70-150deg.C with stirring, which is represented by the formula, CuCl2 + Cu + 2Cu2O + 2HCl -->4CuCl + H2O; drying under vacuum; treating with a solution of alcohol (methanol) and acetone mixed with in a ratio of 2:8 - 1:1 for removing CuCl2 and free chlorine or remaining HCl. |
