mechanical engineering; manufacture of pneumohydraulic springs. SUBSTANCE: spring has cylinder piston and hollow rod which form under-piston and above-piston chambers filled with liquid. Hydraulic accumulator is filled with liquid and gas and is locate in chamber of rod; it is connected with under-piston chamber via valve which is made in damping unit which is self-adjustable depending on frequency and direction of oscillations. Damping unit is provided with stepped plunger. Larger step of plunger divides chamber of damping unit housing, thus forming above-plunger and under-plunger chambers. On outer surface of larger step of plunger in its central portion there I bore connected with under-plunger chamber by means of radial holes. Spring-loaded of compression and rebound strokes are mounted on either side of step. Lesser step forms plunger chamber together with housing of damping unit; this chamber is communicated with above-plunger chamber through longitudinal throttle otofice which is made on outer surface of lesser step of plunger forming resistance to axial motion of plunger in zone of its midposition. EFFECT: enhanced smoothness of stroke; enhanced stability of damping characteristics which are automatically controlled depending on frequency and direction of oscillations of spring; enhanced reliability and wear resistance; reduced expenses for repair and maintenance. 2 dwg
