PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable always correct positions where bar codes on paper sheets S are printed to a right position and to prevent a large quantity of the bar codes from being printed while remaining wrong printing positions as they are. SOLUTION: After the bar code is printed by a bar code printing section 28, a position and a size of a printing area of the bar codes on the paper sheets S are judged by a read image by a bar code reading-out section 29. Deviation quantities in respective directions (a, b, c) are calculated by comparing judged result with the position and the size of the printing area of a standard bar code. Printing position of the bar code printed by the bar code printing section 28 is corrected by rotating-driving pulse motors 56, 57, 58 based on the calculated deviation quantities.
