PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter suitable an air filter of an automobile engine wherein the merit of an elastic material of a seal part is maintained, and wherein the efficiency of air inflow are not deteriorated by improving the durability of a parts of filter elements contacted with a case. SOLUTION: An end part sealing member 7 made of an elastomer material is arranged at one end 18 of filter elements 11, a projecting part 7a is formed by projecting the end part sealing member 7 to the inside of the filter elements 11, a seal ring 8 made of urethane foam is installed at the top of the seal ring 8, and the close ring 8 is sealed to the outer surface of a protruding part 5a of an air outlet 5 protruded into the housing 2. Therefore, the durability of contact parts is improved and an air filtering function due to the seal ring 8 is added by bringing the seal ring 8 into contact with the inner surface of the housing 2 without being the end part sealing member 7 into contact directly with the housing.
