PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease in weight and size without deteriorating performance. SOLUTION: In this inflator 10, an inside of a housing 12 is filled with a pressure medium including CO2. Since a filling density of Co2 can be increased, a dimension of the housing 12 can be decreased accompanied with the increase of the filling density. A combustion means 17 for heating the pressure medium is also used for activating an expansion of an air bag in order to prevent reduction of maximum pressure at operation. |
