PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin that has excellent impact strength, flexibility, transparency and extremely suppressed water absorption and is not externally elasticized. SOLUTION: The objective polyamide resin comprises (A) diamine components mainly including 1,9-nonanediamine (A1) and a chain-branched 9C saturated aliphatic diamine (A2) where the molar ratio of A1 to A2 is 95/5-0/100 and (B) dicarboxylic acid components mainly including a straight chain saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (B1) and a dimer acid (B2) where the molar ratio of B1 to B2 is 95/5-50/50.
