PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems of safety or protection of a slope elevator. SOLUTION: In this protective device in a slope elevator, provided with a stage 3 diagonally lifted along a guide rail 2, a protrusion detection sensor 10 for the tiptoe of a passenger and a mounted object is provided in an advancing direction of the lift stage, a contact sensor means 11 is provided in a lower part of the lift stage, a signal of this contact sensor means is guided to a traction lift controller device of the lift stage, and the protective device in the slope elevator is made so as to stop if foreign matter exists in the lower part of the lift stage when the elevator is lowered down.
