POROUS MATERIAL AND ITS MAKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material capable of increasing selectivity and adsorption separation rate when used for an adsorbent or a separating material and its making method. SOLUTION: The porous material has a mesopore of which the central pore diameter is 1-10 nm and a macropore of which the pore diameter is 0.05-0.5μm. The ratio of the whole volume of the pore which has a diameter in the range of±40% of the central pore diameter to the whole pore volume of the porous material is 60-98% based on the measurement by nitrogen adsorbing method. The ratio of the whole macropore volume of the whole pore volume of the porous material is 20-50% based on the measurement by pressurized mercury method.
