PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic intermediate, i.e., norbornene analogous compound by using a Diels-Alder reaction ofα,α-difluoroallylphosphonate. SOLUTION: This new norbornene analogous compound is represented by general formula (1) [wherein, R1 is H or a lower alkyl; R2 is OH, OR3 (R3 is a lower alkyl) or a group of formula (a) (wherein, R4 is H, a lower alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group); and X is CH2, O, S or NH].
