PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair tonic for preventing or treating hair loss, and to provide a cosmetic method for tonifying natural hair growth and diminishing hair loss by the use of the hair tonic. SOLUTION: This hair tonic contains at least one kind of 10-18C saturated or tinsaturated fatty acid or a salt thereof and at least one kind of agent selected from biotin and caffeine. The fatty acid is preferably capric acid, lauric acid or myristic acid. The hair tonic is used for preventing or treating hair loss. The other objective cosmetic method for tonifying natural hair growth and/or diminishing hair loss comprises the following steps: (1) the effect of 5-α-dihydrotestosterone on the hair is inhibited, (2) the keratinization of the trichocytes is promoted by feeding a regulator, and (3) the circulation of blood in the hair organ region is increased; wherein these three steps are performed simultaneously by applying the sole agent complex onto the scalp. |
