PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a signal transmitted to a pattern variation control means from a main control means. SOLUTION: This pachinko game machine is provided with a pattern variation display means 21 for variably displaying a pattern, the main control means 26 for controlling game operation and the pattern variation control means 36 for varying and stopping the pattern of the pattern variation display means 21 for a prescribed time by the signal from the main control means 26 on condition of detecting a game ball of a pattern starting means 14. The main control means 26 can transmit either one variation command signal of two or more kinds of variation command signals. The pattern variation control means 36 is provided with the function of storing two or more kinds of pattern variation pattern permutations by combining two or more kinds of variation patterns in time series in a prescribed permutation in response to the two or more kinds of variation command signals and the function of variably controlling the pattern of the pattern variation display means 21 according to one pattern variation pattern permutation by selecting the one pattern variation pattern permutation corresponding to one variation command signal by random number processing according to the one variation command signal from the main control means 26.
