PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-piece solid golf excellent in spin characteristic and having satisfactory flying performance, feeling and durability and also high mass-productivity. SOLUTION: This multi-piece solid golf ball comprises at least two cover layers provided on a solid core. The outermost layer of the cover is formed by use of an ionomer resin as main material, the inside layer thereof is formed by use of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having an impact resilience ratio of 40% or more as main material.
