<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical gas cleaning system having excellent performances. SOLUTION: A supplied gas stream is compressed while passed through a compressor 4 through a line 2 to be sent to a heat exchanger 8 through a line 6 to be cooled and the cooled compressed gas is introduced into a moisture separator 12 through a line 10 and water is removed from the gas. This gas is passed through a line 14, a valve 16 and a line 20 to be sent to the treatment zone 25 in a single container 30 and steam is removed in a first adsorbing zone 32 and carbon monoxide is converted to carbon dioxide in a first catalyst zone 34 and CO2 is removed from the gas stream in a second adsorbing bed 36 and steam is removed in a final bed 40 including a third adsorbing zone.</p> |
