PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that even when a roller for correcting the inclination of a rotating disc due to the own weight of a mold or the like is brought into contact with the rotating disc in order to adjust the rotating disc in parallel with a movable platen in a mold clamping device of a horizontal injection molding machine, the correction cannot be achieved and a scoring occurs in a slide area between the rotating disc and the movable platen during rotation. SOLUTION: In the mold clamping device, of the horizontal injection molding machine, of such a structure that the rotating disc with a center axis is incorporated into the movable platen and is rotated by a rotary drive device, an ejection mechanism for ejecting the rotating disc is provided in order to form a gap between the rotating disc and the movable platen prior to the rotation of the rotating disc.
