PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly portable pneumoencephalogram sensor which detects signals generated when the skin of the head of a subject is deformed due to minute vibrations and emotions caused by the activity of the brain of the subject by easily fixing a micro-head to the skin. SOLUTION: This acceleration type sensor 10 which is improved in gauge factor by changing the impedance of an amorphous CoSiB negative magnetostriction wire 4 having the diameter of 20μm against a stress in a state where an AC current or pulsed current which causes the wire 4 to generate a skin effect is made to flow through the wire 4 is fixed to the skin of the head of subject A and detects dynamic time-sequential information (pneumoencephalogram) caused by the activity of the brain of the subject A.
