PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carcinogenesis promotion inhibitor composition, particularly relating to chemical carcinogenesis, because the two-step mechanical theory of initiation and promotion has been widely recognized in the chemical carcinogenesis and a carcinogenesis promotion inhibitor can be an effective carcinostatic means for an organism already carrying the initiated cells that cannot return back to the original normal cells. SOLUTION: The objective carcinogenesis promotion inhibitor composition characteristically includes a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different from one another and each H, hydroxyl, an alkoxy group, an acyloxy group or isopropyl) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient.
