PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical rim wheel improving ride comfort and quietness that are major requirements of an automobile. SOLUTION: Plural cover members 20 are arranged on an outer circumference surface of a rim 6 in a circumference direction, and partition walls are provided inside of the cover members 20 to form sub air chambers 32 between the rim 16 and the cover members 20 in the circumference direction. A tire main air chamber 18 is connected to the cover members 20 through clearances provided between the main air chamber 18 and the cover members 20 as a communication part. A Helmholtz resonator sound absorber is constructed with the sub air chamber 32 and the clearances to absorb vibration of a specific frequency. Since the sub air chamber is not in a continuous annular shape in the tire circumference direction, generation of a cavity resonance noise is suppressed to provide a high noise reduction effect. A recessed well part 30 is provided on the rim 16 to allow mounting a tire 14 thereon in a conventional manner.
