PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the driving of an injection mold ing machine by which the coincidence of the thrust of a ball screw and its movement of the injection molding machine as shown by the workings of a master servo motor and a slave servo motor is ensured. SOLUTION: The master servo motor (10) is controlled by a torque signal and the slave servo motor (12) is controlled by a velocity or a position signal, when a screw (21) is synchronously driven by the master servo motor (10) and the slave servo motor (12) through a first and a second timing belt (16 and 19), a first and a second ball screw (22 and 24), a first and a second ball nut (23 and 25) and the like upon an operation instructing signal (1) which instructs the molding operation of the screw (21) of the injection molding machine. On the other hand, the positional control of the slave servo motor (12) is performed so that a position detected by a velocity detector (13) installed in relation to the slave servo motor (12) coincides with a position detected by a velocity detector (11) installed in relation to the master servo motor (10).
