PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new evaluation method of the ink absorbency, which is insufficient by the conventional evaluation method, by a method wherein an ink jet recording material having a film strength enough larger for suppressing the development of fine cracks and dot-like painting defects on the surface of an ink absorbing layer is provided. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording material has the communicatee percentage of voids of 20% or more and 100% or less. In addition, the communicatee percentage measuring device for this ink jet recording material is proposed. |
