PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device capable of confirming the presence of a tag annexed to an article and the presence of an article to which no tag is annexed when information is read from an electronic tag annexed to a packed article, for inspection. SOLUTION: This inspection device comprises a weighting meter 2 to measure the weight of a packed article 14 and a total weight of a plurality of the articles 14 in a state that a single or a plurality of the articles 11 to which the electronic tag 7 being a non-contact type radio tag is annexed are packed, and a reading/writing device 3 for the electronic tags 7 annexed to a plurality of the articles 14. An article packed based on information on the weight of the article contained in the electronic tag 7 and the article to which the tag is annexed is inspected. |
