<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified polypropylene having excellent fluidity, high melt tension, excellent secondary processability, excellent appearance and a homogeneous foam cell, and suitable for producing a foam product excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: The method for producing the modified polypropylene comprises that polypropylene (A) and peroxydicarbonate (B) are melt-kneaded at 170-250 deg.C using an extruder so that a specific energy (Esp) is in the range of 0.25-0.8 kW.hr/kg to give a modified polypropylene having 0.1-10 g/10 min of melt flow rate, 3-20 g of melt tension and 0.01-25 wt.% or less of gel fraction after boiling paraxylene extraction.</p> |
