PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer particle having a smooth particle surface, a spherical shape and a low oil content and a solvent- soluble content in the formulation of a product. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polymer particle comprises adding 0.099-47 pts.wt. of a crosslinkable vinyl monomer to 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl monomer (hereinafter monomer) during a polymerization reaction having 1-100% monomer polymerization ratio in obtaining the polymer particle by polymerizing the monomer in a solvent in the presence of a dispersant and a polymerization initiator.
