PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a high-strength cement hardened body utilizing a carbonation reaction which is carried out in gaseous carbon dioxide for curing in the course of a hydration reaction after forming the cement hardened body. SOLUTION: The cement hardened body wherein the cement, an aggregate and water are kneaded is formed, procured and demolded after calcium hydroxide resulting from hydration reaction of the cement mineral begins to form, then is cured in the atmosphere of gaseous carbon dioxide in the period from the acceleration stage in which hydration of an alite whose main component is C3S(3CaO.SiO2) and dissolves the other oxides in the form of a solid solution progresses vigorously, to the stationary stage in which the hardened body is compacted through the slowdown stage in which a lot of calcium hydroxide crystal forms in the hardened body.
