PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold for forming an aluminum wheel having a cooling medium passage in which a vertical hole for cooling spoke parts aimed at the spoke parts in the desired aluminum wheel, is freely disposed and also, the degree of freedom to the cooling of the aluminum wheel can be improved. SOLUTION: This metallic mold arranges a cavity in the interval between the lower metallic mold having a gate part for casting molten metal at the center part and the upper metallic mold arranged so as to be faced to the lower metallic mold, and the upper metallic mold is divided into three parts and constituted of a gate cut-off pin disposed at the center zone, and an inner side metallic mold disposed at the outer peripheral part of the gate cut-off pin, an outer side metallic mold disposed at the outer peripheral part of the inner side metallic mold and an upper backup mold for holding both of the inner side metallic mold and the outer side metallic mold. Then, the cooling medium passage having an outlet/inlet hole of the cooling medium in the outer side metallic mold engraved step by step and the vertical hole- state cooling medium passages bored toward the cavities corresponding to the spoke parts in the aluminum wheel, in the outer side metallic mold and having the bottomed part, are successively provided.
