PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chlorine remover attachable to a hydrant, which can adjust the position of small holes formed in the tip of a pipe in the case that a hydrant is attached to a sealed vessel, thereby placing the small holes right under a discharge opening. SOLUTION: A pipe 30 is connected to a vessel 20 having a sealed structure, in which an aqueous solution of a chlorine neutralizer is filled. Small holes 34, 35 are opened in the tip of the pipe 30, and are disposed in the flux C of tap water discharged from a hydrant A. When the discharge of the tap water is stopped, the outflow of the aqueous solution from the small holes 34, 35 is stopped, and when the tap water is discharged, the aqueous solution is poured to the discharged tap water from the small holes 34, 35 to be mixed into it. A position adjusting mechanism 5 for placing the tip of the pipe 30 just under the discharge opening of the hydrant A is installed between the vessel 20 and a mounting part 1 engaged with the hydrant A of the tap water.
