摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method for metallic shaft by which the adhessiveness of a covering material can be enhanced, the treatment cost can be reduced by eliminating plating treatment process and productivity can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A sprayer 2 and a coater 3 are arranged near the metallic shaft 1. A spraying material 11 is jetted from the sprayer 2 and sprayed on the metallic shaft 1. The spraying material 11 is uniformly sprayed on the whole surface of the metallic shaft 1. A 1st coating material 12 is then discharged from the coater 3 and applied on the metallic shaft 1, on which the spraying material 11 is deposited. The 1st coating aftercare 12 is applied on the intermediate part 10 of the metallic shaft 1. As the components of the 1st coating material, a thermosetting acrylic resin is used. Then, rust proofing effect on the metallic shaft is enhanced due to the high adhesiveness of the 1st coating material. The productivity of the metallic shaft is enhanced by eliminating the process of the plating treatment to reduce the treatment cost.
