PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder capable of preventing the wrinkling of a cloth to be fed down into an ink jet head. SOLUTION: When a cloth 20 rewound from a cloth roll 22 is fed down into the ink jet head 10 by a cloth carrying mechanism 50, tension granting means 100 is used to apply strong/weak vibration tension to the cloth 20 fed down into the ink jet head 10. The wrinkling of the cloth 20 fed down into the ink jet head 10 is removed with manual work.
