PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment for stud pin, which has an energizing shaft with a stud pin mounted on its tip, which is welded to a steel material, a means rotating the energizing shaft by a motive power and a means energizing for welding to the energizing shaft. SOLUTION: The welding equipment for stud pin has the energizing shaft 12 with the stud pin 3 mounted on its tip, which is welded to the steel material 5, a motor 11 rotating the energizing shaft 12 by the motive power and a switch 15 energizing for welding to the energizing shaft 12. Its welding method has a process pushing the tip of the stud pin 3 on the steel material 5, which is mounted on the energizing shaft 12, a process rotating the energizing shaft 12, rubbing the surface of the steel material 5 with the tip of the stud pin 3 and removing its insulating coating and a process welding the tip of the stud pin 3 to the steel material 5 by energizing the energizing shaft 12.
