PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation type food and drink conveying device to enable reliable transfer of a plate of sushi, separation of the adjoining plates of sushi with a comparatively light force, and prevent the damage of a conveyance passage. SOLUTION: Since first and second magnets 20 and 17 are arranged such that the magnetic poles of the respective magnets face opposite to each other, when food and drink containers are placed on a conveyance passage, the first and second magnets 20 and 17 are brought into a position relation that the same magnetic poles face each other, the first magnet receives the repulsion force of the second magnet and is brought into a state to be stabilized between the second magnet and a second magnet adjoining thereto. In this case, since, when the second magnet is run in a circulating manner in a given direction, the first magnet tends to hold the stable position described above, it is circulated and run at the same speed as the running speed of the second magnet. Since a repulsion force is present, in a manner described above, between the second magnet and the first magnet, the food or drink container can be lifted with a comparatively light force and the conveyance passage is hardly damaged during circulation conveyance of the food and drink container.
