PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load a slice of food cut by a cutter on a delivery conveyor while keeping an uncurled state by preventing curl due to the cutting. SOLUTION: A food slicer has a feed conveyor 2, 5 for feeding a cutting thickness of food each, a cutter 23, 25 for cutting a front food end every time the food is fed to set the front food end projecting forward from the feed conveyor 2, 5, and a delivery conveyor 32 on which the slices of food are placed. A support member 35 for supporting the food slices cut by the cutter 23, 25 and a receiving plate 39 on which the slices are superposed are disposed in respective positions under and forward of the front food end projecting forward from the feed conveyor 2, 5. After the food slices supported by the support member 35 are superposed on the receiving plate 39, the receiving plate 39 is retracted to let the food slices fall onto the delivery conveyor 32.
