PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arylamine which has excellent solubility in coating solutions and excellent compatibility with binders, and can stably produce electrophotosensitizers. SOLUTION: This arylamine compound which has an arylamine residue and two or four double bonds in the molecule and can be belonged to a C2 space group or a Cs space group in response to the geometrical isomerism of the double bonds, characterized in that the rate of the Z-isomer in the geometrical isomerism of the double bonds directly bonded to the arylamine residue is 30 to 85%.
